HOW TO GET TO lAS pALAPAS

There are following possibilities to get from Cancun Airport to Hotel Las Palapas in Playa del Carmen:

By taxi

Tickets for taxis to Playa del Carmen can be bought at fixed prices at a special ticket counter which is located right by the Cancun Airport exit. Costs:

Private taxi: approximately US $65.00
Colectivo (shared taxi): approximately US $18.00 per person.

By public bus

There is a regular bus service between the Cancun Airport and Playa del Carmen.

Schedule

Cancun Airport - Playa del Carmen:
Every 30 minutes, from 08:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Playa del Carmen - Airport Cancun:
Every 30 minutes, from 08:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Costs

Price: approx. US $8.00 per person one way.

Busses arrive at the bus terminal in Playa del Carmen, located at the corner of Avenida Juarez with 5a. Avenida. From there you can take a taxi to Hotel Las Palapas (approx. US $2.50).

By rental car

Take the 307 highway from Cancun in a southern direction towards Tulum. After approximately 45 minutes, you reach Playa del Carmen. At the 34th Avenue exit, where the sign shows PLAYAS you turn left and follow the road straight ahead until you reach Hotel Las Palapas.
