Après l'OUragan "Emily"

Playa del Carmen, 02 August 2005 (en anglais) - As you might already know, Hotel Las Palapas - that was timely evacuated on July 17th - has not been spared from effects of hurricane EMILY. The extremely high winds and tides that EMILY brought about did indeed cause some damage to our property. Fortunately, all such damage can be repaired with relative ease and in a reasonably short time span. As a result, we have been working quite hard for the last days and are now proud to inform you that - with the exception of the 18 hours that our current guests were evacuated from the hotel grounds - our services have not been interrupted.

LAS PALAPAS is now providing its full services again.

Needless to say, our beaches are as beautiful as ever, and our gardens are recovering their charm.
